Calcutta Kids

of Washington State

These children receive all they need because of generous sponsors. They are fed nutritious meals, clothed, given an education and provided medical care.

Boys and Girls Hostels

Creating a Home for the Homeless

GNCEM has constructed two beautiful, clean, safe hostels on the outskirts of Calcutta. Together they have a capacity for four hundred children. Unfortunately they are not running at full capacity, not because there isn't tremendous need, but because funding is limited. GNCEM relies almost entirely on foreign donations to run these hostels. It costs about $50 a month to house, feed, educate, and clothe each child at the hostel. Our goal is to have every child in the hostels sponsored and to have the hostels running at full capacity.
